Our Adaptive learning combined with Active learning Approach Student-Focused Edtech

Integrating adaptive learning and active learning with technology.

Active Learning + Adaptive Learning

LONESTAR wants to help English students improve their conversational skills by integrating adaptive learning with technology. Students will receive personalized content and exercises based on their abilities and interests, and can practice through active learning exercises such as role-playing and simulated conversations. Real-time feedback from AI or a teacher will help students improve their pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and other language skills. The learning experience will continuously adapt based on the student’s progress to ensure that it remains challenging and relevant. This means that students can learn outside the classroom in a way that suits their individual needs.

Founder's Language Learning Experience

The founder is a native English speaker, but actually learned English as his second language. He had some help with his pronunciation when he was young and remembered those speech classes. He found it difficult to learn other languages in high school and university until he joined the US Peace Corps. During this time, he learned both Kazakh and Russian using techniques like disappearing words, shadowing, and talking with his Kazakh host family.

When developing MyKaiwa the founder will use these same teaching techniques with this app.
