Keeping a promise UN SDGs
We measure a part of our success by meeting these important United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
UN Sustainable Development Goals
Before leaving Almaty, Kazakhstan, in June 2016, the co-founder met his friend who was part of the UN Mission in Kazakhstan. He promised his friend that in any future project he partakes in, the project will meet one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Keeping his promise, LONESTAR will address two UN Sustainable Development Goals and Targets:
Goal 4: Quality Education
All LONESTAR projects will:
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
We specifically will focus on Target 4.7:
By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture's contribution to sustainable development.

Goal 5: Gender Equality
LONESTAR project also aims to:
Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
We will specifically focus on Target 5.b:
Enhance the use of enabling technology, in particular information and communications technology, to promote the empowerment of women.
